Sainte Foy

The ski area in terms of pistes is very limited but this is reflected in the price of the lift pass which is almost half that of other major French resorts. It does offer some incredible off piste opportunities though, and this is perhaps the main draw to the resort for good skiers.

BEGINNERS:

There is a nursery slope, a green run and a few blue pistes, combine these with an excellent ski school and uncrowded pistes and you have a recipe for a great first ski holiday.

INTERMEDIATES:

Not a great choice, intermediates are best suited by visiting the neighbouring Val d’Isere or Les Arcs. La Rosiere is also close by and worth checking out.

EXPERTS:

Get yourself a guide on the first morning and explore the amazing unpisted terrain on offer.

There are two main watering holes, L’Apres and Iceberg both offer live music during the week.
